Removed from the arduous ritual of full leg shaving and eyebrow grooming, I gain 10 extra minutes a day. The last time I shaved my legs was July 4th, 2001. Now I have smooth legs, free from hair, stubble and razor-burn. Best of all—no more nicks and cuts.

But my favorite areas by far—my eyebrows and bikini line. With eyebrows, all it takes is one little hair to drive anyone crazy—but now I can completely ignore those pesky hairs. Under that thick coarse hair, the bikini area reveals soft, silky skin. Plus, no more unattractive red bumps.
Before discovering laser hair removal, I did not know an easy method was available to permanently remove thick black chin hairs. And I thought I was alone. After about 3 years of electrology I now enjoy great results.

AS an RN since 1990—long hours, weekends, and little control over my schedule was an impetus for career change.

When I realized it was time for a career change that offered more time with family, I knew a career in laser hair removal was the perfect match. Hospital patients need medical care at 3 am—laser clients do not.

Growing up, I lived on a farm in Iowa. I graduated from the University of Iowa, College of Nursing in 1990—then moved to Denver. A husband and 3 children more than fills my free time!

After working as an RN for over 23 years in many different fields including medical surgical/telemetry, telephonic triage, and case management I have finally landed a true dream job! I am thrilled to have joined the team at Affordable Laser. I enjoy anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, camping and love to spend time with my chickens, gardening and flowers. I earned my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing at Front Range Community College in 1990 and a Bachelor of Science in 1993 from the University of Phoenix. I have practiced in a variety of settings over the past 23 years, including Emergency, Critical Care and Maternity Nursing. In 2009 I obtained my Esthetician License and Certification in cosmetic injectibles. Quickly I realized that the Aesthetic industry was my "niche". I like to "nurture" and form relationships with my patients. I recognize that not all patients are alike and everyone has different goals and expectations. I enjoy spending time with my husband Steve and two children ages 16 and 20. I am an artist and a voice actor. Ask me about my Airedale Terriers Riley and Piper! I love dogs!

My nursing background has been mostly in hospital Medical / Surgical and OB, and I am excited to add a new chapter in my career that includes Laser aesthetics. It is truly awesome to get to work with such wonderful and caring nurses. As it is also exciting to see how thrilled clients get when they realize there is a cure for that unwanted hair. When they walk out of here they are amazed with the results and with so much more self confidence.

I am a Broomfield native and have four wonderful children. Before Affordable Laser, I worked in Domestic and International sales for kidney dialysis equipment as well as equipment for industrial applications.

Affordable Laser was a blessing to me as a client and now that I am an employee, it has been a blessing to both me and my family.

As a "Jack of many trades, master of none" being polymathic, meaning, "having learned much," would best describe my function at Affordable Laser. It's a perfect fit allowing me the flexibility to be a father and supporting husband to a busy business woman and business owner. We often struggle to find the appropriate job title, but here are some of my duties: CFO, bookkeeper, computer/network software and hardware engineer, office and equipment maintenance/ cleaning, laundry, purchasing, apprentice laser technician, assistant/backup receptionist, and fish caretaker.

My previous experience includes an honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force, where I served almost 12 years active duty with ICBMs - supporting missiles and communications during Operation Desert Storm, in the Pacific Region. Graduated with a B.S. in Aviation from Central Missouri State and an A.A.S in Electronics. Worked with Qwest Communications as inside technical management and outside field tech for 9 years. I hold several pilot certificates including a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) rating that allows me to fly out of nearby metropolitan airports like Rocky Mountain Metro Airport.

I am proud to be involved with the high quality of character at Affordable Laser. Dr. Kelli Lewis

Kelli Lewis, M.D., is on staff as our medical director.

Kelli is an ER doctor at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center and Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center. Kelli is on site regularly. She reviews charts and meets with clients periodically.

Kelli received her nursing degree in 1979 from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. She then pursued medical school at Texas Tech University where she received her doctor of medicine degree in 1988.

Kelli is a bright, energetic, and compassionate woman— she is a wonderful asset to our staff.
