What makes CoolPeel® different?
CO2 lasers are considered the superior choice in reducing wrinkles, dark spots, scars, and other blemishes, as well as tightening and rejuvenating skin. Who is a candidate for CoolPeel®?
You are an ideal candidate for CoolPeel® laser treatment if you want to diminish the appearance of fine lines and sun damage, minimize pores, and improve skin texture. The results are dramatic! Your skin will look considerably younger and healthier. If you have melasma, we will need to fully assess your skin, as melasma is a contraindication of this treatment!
How long does CoolPeel® treatment take?
A full-face CoolPeel® laser peel treatment can take about an hour- if neck and decollete are done as well, it takes a little longer.
Is anesthesia or numbing required?
Yes! We use a 27% Lidocaine, 10% Tetracaine topical anesthesia that is on your skin for 30-40 minutes. We also have a Zimmer cooler device that cools the area if needed. For those of us who need the strong stuff, we offer Nitro-Nox during the procedure (don’t worry, you can still drive yourself home!)
What is my recovery time?
One of the primary advantages of CoolPeel® is very little – if any – downtime or recovery! You can expect to experience some redness similar to a sunburn for a day or two, but nothing will prevent you from returning to your normal everyday activities. Your skin may feel dry or scaly as it heals, so keeping your skin adequately hydrated is always recommended. Of course the higher CoolPeel settings will have a longer recovery time of 1-2 weeks.
When can I return to my skincare routine?
After your CoolPeel® treatment, we will send you home with all the necessary products to ensure your recovery is complication free. The most important part of your treatment is the post treatment care, and we will be readily available to walk you through this recovery process.
Pricing:
The CoolPeel® laser can be done in a series of 3 lighter treatments, with minimal downtime (24-72 hours) starting at $700 per treatment for the face. Additional pricing for added areas as well as the stronger CO2 (more downtime). A combination of CoolPeel® as well as the CO2 deep treatment is most often done, skin rejuvenation all over, with stronger treatment in some areas.
